— Why an Accelerator Program

The playbook has changed. Radically.

image

What brought us here — our craft, our taste, our portfolio — won't make us irreplaceable.

To stay ahead of disruption, Design Leaders must THINK like a STRATEGIST and ACT like an ENTREPRENEUR.

Discover what's DESIRABLE. Define what's STRATEGIC. Build what's VIABLE.

You become irreplaceable when you know how to Inspire, Challenge, and Disrupt — beyond the screen.

— Why I have made this

Ciao! I’m — GLC

image

For 20+ years, my mission has been to enable and empower leaders and teams to realize their full INNOVATIVE potential.

I had the absolute privilege of collaborating and advising some of the world's most innovative organizations, and this program is the result of everything I have learned and experimented in these years.

I myself questioned what would make me irreplaceable. This program also the result of that research.

— The Question is

How do you stay relevant in the age of AI?

Every disruption is both a RISK and an OPPORTUNITY. For Design Leaders, it's not about which tools you master. It's about how you reshape the way you LEAD, THINK, and COLLABORATE across the business.

No single skill guarantees you'll be irreplaceable. But the evidence points to a STACK of capabilities that make Design Leaders VALUABLE beyond execution:

Future Proof Skills

‣
⚖️ Leadership & Sound Judgment

Deciding what matters, making trade-offs, and owning the outcome. AI can inform decisions. It can't make the call.

‣
🔥 Creativity & Adaptability

Generating new options, learning fast, and responding to change. AI can optimize what exists. It can't imagine what doesn't.

‣
🤝 Communication & Collaboration

Aligning people, building trust, and creating clarity. AI can draft the message. It can't read the room.

‣
🧠 Critical & Systems Thinking

Finding the real problem, testing assumptions, and connecting the dots. AI can process data. It can't ask the right question.

‣
⚡️ AI Literacy & Discernment

Deciding what matters, making trade-offs, and owning the outcome. AI can inform decisions. It can't make the call.

McKinsey - Human Skills WEF - Future of jobs

The GOOD news:

These are innate human skills. They can be developed and sustained.

The BAD news:

These are not hard skills you can learn from a course or a textbook. They're hybrid skills — acquired only through EXAMPLE, EXPERIENCE, and PRACTICE.

That's what this program is built for.

— Who is it for

Built for high-performing Design Leaders

You are skilled, perceptive, and deeply passionate about the work. You push hard for quality. But lately, something feels different. AI-generated design is flooding the space. Stakeholders are questioning the ROI of design. You're not falling behind — but you're not sure your value is being fully seen.

You want to stay strategically relevant, lead beyond execution, and grow your influence. Not by abandoning your craft — by upgrading how you lead around it.

This IS for you if:

+ You lead a design function (UX, Brand, Product Design, Creative) and feel pressure to prove business impact

+ You're skilled at making things beautiful and functional — but struggle to get the seat at the strategy table

+ You're tired of being brought in at the end, instead of being part of the decision from the start

+ You want to build something real and actionable that you and your team can work on Monday

+ You're willing to invest 4 weeks of focused work on your actual design challenge

This is NOT for you if:

— You're looking for design inspiration without implementation or active engagement

— You're not ready to challenge how you currently operate as a design leader & work on real change

— You want a portfolio review or a course on tools and software

— You're comfortable being "the creative department" and don't feel the urgency to be seen as a strategic partner

— You want a quick win rather than building real leadership capability

— Empowering Innovators & Teams

Silvia C. — Chief. Innovation Officer

"The program gave me the framework to measure what actually matters — not vanity metrics, but capability growth and revenue impact. We're now tracking actual revenue from innovation projects.”

★★★★★

image

Maria Chiara S. — Creative Director

"My biggest win? Junior team members now bring me fully-framed problems with three solution options instead of asking 'what should we do?' The program distributed decision-making capability across the entire team.”

★★★★★

image

Cesco C. — CEO

"We were scaling fast but our innovation was slowing down. The program helped us rebuild our product development rhythm — now we ship experiments weekly instead of debating features monthly. Speed without chaos.”

★★★★★

image

Hoang H. — Founder

"As a technical founder, I was the bottleneck. The program taught my non-technical co-founder and ops team how to think through product tradeoffs. Now I can focus on building while they drive strategic decisions.”

— How it Works

Four Weeks, One Challenge, Infinite Opportunities.

The program is a hybrid of self-paced AI-powered material, live session discussions, progress reviews, and expert feedback.

‣

🗓️ W0 — Kick-off

→ Meet the cohort, review your project submission, and align on the schedule.

→ You come in with a challenge. We make sure it's the right one.

‣

👁️ W1 — Define Your Vision

→ Most design teams fail because their purpose is a brief, not a vision.

→ People nod in meetings but pull in different directions. The design direction is vague. The vision doesn't stick.

→ This week, you build a vision so sharp that your team and stakeholders align on sight — and you can sell it without a 30-slide deck.

‣

🧭 W2 — Map Your Strategy

→ Most strategies are a single bet disguised as a plan.

→ This week, you will work on a plan for multiple scenarios, identify where the leverage actually is, and design your preferred future — not just react to whatever comes next.

‣

👾 W3 — Build Your Design Team Model

→ Most design teams are structured around tools and specialisms, not outcomes.

→ This week, you redesign your team for the work ahead — clear roles, fast feedback loops, and AI augmenting your designers where it matters most.

‣

🤩 W4 — Make Design Deliver Value

→ Most design work gets measured by output, not outcome.

→ This week, you map exactly where design creates business value and where it disappears — and tie every decision to results that leadership actually cares about.

‣

🚀 WX — Closing & Next step

→ We consolidate your work, present the roadmap, and plan your next moves.

→ You leave with a clear path forward — and a cohort that keeps you accountable.

— What's Included:

→ 💬 4 live strategy sessions (2.5h each) with GLC and guest experts

→ ⚡10+ hours of self-paced AI-powered micro-learning

→ 👾 5 AI-powered frameworks + Agents you can deploy on any future project

→ 📓 Books (3) & Templates Plays (55)

→ 😎 Access to a curated cohort of high-performing leaders

→ 🚀 A real design leadership challenge you build during the program — not a concept, an actual strategic asset

→ 🗓️ Bi-weekly office hours and quarterly meetups after the program

→ ⭕️ Full community Access & Case studies

FAQ

‣
I don't have time for another program.

I hear you. Neither do I. That's exactly why this is 4 weeks, not 4 months. Each session is built for people who run businesses, not people who study them. If you can block one focused session a week, you're in. And honestly? The leaders who say "I don't have time" are usually the ones spending 40 hours a week in meetings that produce nothing. This gives you back clarity. That saves time.

Also, don’t see this as a program; this is your innovation project. This is your yearly bonus guarantee. Free Team alignment session. Ale B. — GM of a major real estate platform freed 30% of its schedule thanks to the program.

The program has 4 sessions of live 2.5h strategy sessions. Around 10 Hours of self-paced content divided into micro learning sessions (less than 15 min).

The total recommended time commitment is 2h per Week + 2.5h of Review. So a total of around 20-25h.

PS. FYI, most of the participants actually engage more than that because they love the challenge;

‣
What makes this different from other leadership programs?

Most programs choose a lane. They either teach you theory or tools.

This does neither. You work on your actual design challenge — your vision, your team, your value chain. Through the lens of the 5 capabilities AI can't replace. You don't get a certificate. You get a plan you've already started executing.

By the end of the program, you have a design leadership project capable of generating measurable business impact.

‣
So is this an AI course?

No. AI is the context, not the curriculum. Every design tool is adding AI. That's not what makes you irreplaceable. This is about the human design leadership capabilities that become more valuable as AI handles generation — judgment, vision, team-building, and knowing when craft matters and when strategy matters more.

We embed the use of AI in practical functions and activities you learn by doing, not by watching. You will also build your own AI tools and agents. But only the ones you actually need.

‣
Is this relevant for my role/industry?

If you're a Design Lead, Creative Director, Head of UX, or Brand Lead responsible for teams and outcomes — yes. It doesn't matter if you're in tech, fashion, retail, or finance. What matters is that you lead through design and need to prove its value beyond the work itself. This is built for Design Leaders who want to make better decisions faster, lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity, and build something that doesn't stop at the deliverable.

These are the skills that make you Irreplaceable. Whether you design for a startup or a global brand.

‣
What do I actually walk away with?

Four AI-powered frameworks that you can deploy on any future design project.

  1. Clarify your design vision, mission, and purpose. So you can confidently sell your initiative, align your team and stakeholders around a clear design direction. This makes you undeniable.
  2. Craft a future-proof design strategy. A framework to evaluate multiple paths, identify where design has the most leverage, and engineer a roadmap that survives org changes. This makes you antifragile — flexible and fast when conditions shift.
  3. Build your ideal design team model. The future is agentic and AI-augmented. Learn to leverage AI outputs with human design judgment and adaptation. This makes you a multiplier — doing more with less.
  4. Build a value delivery system for design tied to actual business outcomes. You know exactly where design creates value and where it gets diluted. This makes you sharp — specific on metrics, specific on actions.

These aren't slides. These aren't frameworks you "might use someday." They're practices you build during the program, on your challenge, ready to implement the Monday after we finish.

‣
What if we invest in this, and one of the team members leaves?

This is the most common fear in L&D — and exactly why this program works. Every single week produces a deliverable that belongs to the company. A strategic framework. A team model. A value map. If a team member leaves, the thinking stays. The structure stays. You're not only funding someone's personal growth. You're funding business infrastructure that's built by your best people. This actually makes the program scalable. We can also run it in parallel teams.

‣
Is it worth the investment?

Let's put it in perspective. This fits inside most training budgets without procurement or committee approval. Now compare it to a 2-day offsite that yields a nice dinner but produces zero actionable output. Or a conference ticket that produces LinkedIn posts. This produces 4 weeks of structured strategic work tied to your actual business. The ROI case writes itself — and if you need help making it internally, we'll help you build it.

Let me help you do the math: If the project idea has the ability to produce a 10% revenue impact on your bottom line, what's that worth? For a $10M business, that's $1M. The program is not priced at $1M — though maybe it should be.

‣
Who runs this, and why should I trust you?

Fair question. Here's what you should know: I’m Gianluca Cinquepalmi. I've spent 25 years building creative leadership and innovation teams and projects at Microsoft, American Express, Disney, Toyota, Chanel, Four Seasons, Unilever, and many others.

Two bestselling books on the subject. Former Chair of the Communication Arts department and Professor of Business Design, Branding, and UX at SCAD Hong Kong. Managing Director of 1.618 Studio, an Award-Winning Business Design and innovation studio based in Hong Kong and Milan.

I'm a scholar but not a theorist. I've had the privilege of sitting in the rooms where these decisions get made, and I've built the systems that make them work.

I’ll not lecture you and your team, I’ll facilitate (accelerate) the process and share experience. We will also invite field experts (best-in-class practitioners) to share their views and insights into tech evolution. Especially since AI is constantly evolving.

‣
Can I bring my team into this?

Yes — and you probably should. The best results happen when a leader goes through this with 2–3 key people from their team. Why? Because you're not just learning concepts — you're building real strategic assets together. When your team is in the room, alignment happens in real-time instead of you going back and trying to "cascade" what you learned. That never works. We offer team packages for exactly this reason.

‣
What happens after the 4 weeks?

You don't get dropped. After the program, you get access to our community of leaders going through the same transformation.

You get follow-up touch points to keep momentum. And when you're ready to go deeper — whether that's advisory, workshops for your wider team, or our full ecosystem — the door is open. But here's the real answer: after 4 weeks, you'll have built enough structure and clarity to keep going on your own. That's the whole point.

Realistically, you might need to work on approvals, refinement, and a couple of experiments to fully deploy your project. We offer biweekly office hours and quarterly cohort meetups to maintain momentum.
