Even as I took on new leadership roles, I often felt lost, overwhelmed, and alone.
Maybe it was ego.
Perhaps it was conditioning — the old notion that leadership means knowing everything and showing nothing.
The truth?
While we were pushing to create, challenge, and innovate, I was just as uncertain as anyone on the team. Why did that make me uncomfortable?
I know many new and evolving leaders feel the same — and that's wrong.

Today, leadership is too often seen as Selfish, Cynical, and Corrupt.
It’s about control, not connection—authority, not purpose.
We cling to outdated models, pretending the world isn’t changing faster than we can adapt.
We manage systems → but fail to inspire people.
We optimize processes → but forget to explore possibilities.
We project control → when we should question the status quo.
Leadership is broken because we keep mistaking certainty for competence.
Pretending to be experts when we should be explorers.
